The water filter with 5.5 μm,30cm pore size, pretreats water by removing large particles from tap feed water. This protects the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane against fouling and chlorine oxidation, thus optimizes system lifetime and performance. It uses depth filtration for water pretreatment.
